Shed/Cabin

Still a work in progress, it's more finished than unfinished.

Cladding continued...

Although time consuming the cladding is giving the shed a more completed look. I'll be painting the whole thing black when all the cladding is on, except the window frames and door of course, which incidentally is in its design stage, hope to have it on by the end of next month.

I'm using some recycled cladding mixed in with the new stuff so as not to waste it, looks quite nice though, put it round one of the windows and down the left side wall.

Below shows a detail of the waterproof seal I applied to all the windows.

Fitted fascia boards 2nd Sept 07

Preserved boards with black preservative and fitted to ends of roof beams. Roof is now ready for guttering... need to find a waterbutt.

Roof phase three - August 25th

My brother came up the plot with me to finish fitting the roof, he'd made some lovely zinc drips and used three layers of felt - underlay, green mineral felt and the final torch on layer.

We are now officially waterproof.
