Concreted the 4 back posts

Bank support to prevent erosion

Using offcuts and such, hammered stakes into bank to prevent avalanche whilst I work.

Measured roughly where posts were going and dug 15" holes.



Placed supporting rails at approximate hieght to make it easier to work out final position of posts. Plus I could have a look at eventual size. Which is nice.



Will be using breeze blocks to support middle of frame.

Excavating the bank

With a little help from my JCB big yellow digger





Emptied excavated soil, or slag, under plum tree on plot 2 where the ground slopes, to try to even out the level.

Clearing out the crap

First things first, had to remove all the stuff that had accumulated over the past year. Lots of spiders. Bit damp. Have to tackle the sloping bank next.

Scale model of allotment workshop

Made scale model (1:25) to assess size in relation to surroundings.
